My Name is Marines Ponce, I was Born in Havana, Cuba . I arrived to the United States at the age of 4, and was raised in Miami, FL. As a young girl I was always in front of the TV,  singing and dancing to the Spice Girls. I Loved how fun and funky they're styles were, and considered my self "baby" spice, with her little pigtails. 

Growing up, Sex and the City became my show and my world. I've always said 

"SEX and  The City Raised me". LOL

I was immediately drawn to the New York fashion, style, and way of life. From their evolving style to their very sheik, big, fun, sexy, sophisticated hair, I loved it all. 

If you’ve ever seen Sex and the City you know that Carey (Sarah Jessica Parker) always looked like she had just jumped out of bed, but never left the house without her stunning Manolo Blahnik’s and her big, natural, curly hair. 

She made me realize at a very early age, that natural confidence, a bold personality and fabulous hair were three key accessories that you should never leave the house without!

I can remember so many times my girlfriends would come over to watch our weekly episode of Sex and the City while I would be styling their hair trying to imitate whatever Carey and the girls were wearing that season.

Fast forward a few years and I’m sitting in my hair stylist's chair and he tells me “Mari, you’re always bringing me these fierce, edgy ideas. Have you ever considered becoming a hairstylist?” This was the exact moment that I knew I wanted to make people feel the same way my hair stylist made me feel. I would leave the salon with my shoulders back, chin up, knowing that I could conquer the world.

It has become my passion to make every woman who leaves my chair feel how I felt each and every time.
